1. Information we collect
Depending on the feature used, Pythia may collect an email address, password hash, preferred language, consent records, questions, messages, selected cards, generated readings, uploaded screenshots or photographs, technical logs, device and browser information, credit balances, credit ledger records, payment identifiers, and account activity. We do not store your plain-text password.
2. Why we use it
We use information to provide readings, maintain accounts and history, manage credits, prevent abuse, secure the service, process payments, respond to support requests, and improve prompts, interfaces, and reliability. We aim to collect only what is reasonably needed for the selected feature.
3. AI and service providers
Content submitted for analysis may be sent to AI, hosting, authentication, infrastructure, and payment providers that help operate Pythia. Uploaded images and text may be processed by AI providers to generate the requested reading. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Pythia. Providers may process data outside Québec or Canada, including in the United States.
4. Storage and retention
Signed-in users may have readings, credits, and transaction records attached to their account. We retain account, credit, payment, security, and transaction records for operational, tax, dispute, anti-abuse, and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably required.
5. Photographs and screenshots
Coffee cup images, palm images, screenshots, and message text are used to produce the requested reading or analysis. You should remove names, addresses, faces, private identifiers, and other sensitive information that you do not want processed. Pythia does not promise that uploads are anonymous.
6. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections, password hashing, protected server storage, and logging intended to reduce unauthorized access. No online service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may use available controls to sign out, view account information, and manage available account features. Future versions may add clearer deletion, correction, and export controls. If you need privacy help, use the contact method provided on the site when available.
8. Advertising and sale of data
Pythia does not sell conversation or reading content to advertisers. If analytics or advertising tools are introduced later, this policy and consent controls should be updated before use.
9. Age
Pythia accounts and readings are intended for adults aged 18 and over.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements evolve. The active version and date will remain visible.
